Delta Marsh
Stretching along the southern edge of Lake Manitoba, Delta Marsh Wildlife Management Area is worth the drive from Winnipeg – and not only for viewing migrating waterfowl. Come see the ballet of the courting Western Grebe in the spring. Depending upon lake levels watch migrating sandpipers skitter about on the beach and off shore sandbars while often spectacular numbers of warblers flit through the trees in spring and fall migration. Experience first-hand why Delta Marsh is considered one of the most significant large marshes on the Canadian prairies.
