Pembina Valley Provincial Park

Sweeping vistas of vividly coloured fields unfurl to the horizon from vantage points along hiking trails. A haven for songbirds, Pembina Valley swells with a symphony created by a myriad of songbirds.

Soar over to Hawk Alley in the nearby Windygates area – a popular spring migration route for not only Red-tailed Hawks, but other raptors including Bald Eagle, Swainson’s Hawk and Golden Eagle. Time your visit for late March to mid-April, to match their arrival.

Shall we dance? Take a whirl through the Sharp-tailed Grouse dancing grounds in the Snowflake Unit of the Pembina Valley Wildlife Management Area, just east of the town of Snowflake.
